On 27 October, AIM – the European Brands Association – published and distributed a statement about European Retail Alliances (ERAs)’s alleged size, market coverage and practices. These claims are unfounded and based on serious flaws, which results in a misleading presentation of retail alliances and of the true relative sizes of large international manufacturers and ERAs.
